It's easy to get caught up in the horror stories of contractors leaving their clients walking out on jobs, stealing materials and/or down payments, doing shoddy work, etc. And unfortunately, I can say that a lot of those stories are true. But what I value most about Jorge and Maria is their honesty and integrity. When they make a commitment, they stick to it. Period. I've been working with them for over four years and, even in the rare times that projects have gotten tight, I've personally seen them take it upon themselves to work nights and weekends to make sure the job gets done. As an investor, their work ethic leaves me free to work on finding more deals, instead of spending every day physically checking up on the progress of my rehab, and that's been a great advantage to me. So if you're looking for an easily managed rehab that's going to look great in the end, I definitely recommend giving the a try. Life is much easier when you work with good people. Having used many contractor that made false promises and not doing the job as signed to the contract agreement. I was tired of the same old story, and I thought I would never be able to find a contractor in Baltimore that could do the job as promised. When the time came I searched a couple investment group sites; the Mareia club of Baltimore & Realinvestors of Bowie, and found Jorge & Maria. M&J Painting & Drywall did everything that was on the contract agreement for a great price and best of all the job was finished on time. I would highly recommend them for any work. Jorge and his wife Maria are great. I had them drywall my entire house along with insulation & framing, paint the exterior (beautiful job!), hang kitchen cabinets and fix my stairs (stain, paint & railings).
